Gambier Vets

The Gambier Vet facility in Mount Gambier was founded with the vision of creating a comprehensive, one-stop veterinary practice that could serve both local pet owners and those in need of assistance for pets traveling overseas.

The design of the facility prioritizes efficiency, a positive working environment, and strict adherence to industry standards, ensuring the highest quality of care and service delivery.

Spanning 900m², this purpose-built hospital is fully equipped to meet the diverse needs of animals, with advanced diagnostic tools such as in-house blood testing, digital x-rays, ultrasonography, and endoscopy. The facility boasts modern surgical rooms, climate-controlled kennel areas, and a fully stocked veterinary pharmacy. With seven consulting rooms, two operating theatres, and four treatment spaces supported by recovery rooms, Gambier Vet offers a well-rounded and comprehensive approach to animal care. Key features like dark rooms and isolation units further demonstrate the practice's commitment to cleanliness, infection control, and the well-being of all patients.

The discreet exit for euthanasia demonstrates sensitivity to the emotional needs of pet owners during difficult times, offering a compassionate and dignified farewell for beloved pets.

The facility's support for horses and other livestock, in addition to its in-house grooming parlour and boarding services for dogs and cats, further demonstrate its commitment to providing comprehensive care for a wide range of animals.

The inclusion of canine and feline boarding services provides a valuable option for pet owners who need to travel or go on holiday. This space was designed to allow for a safe and comfortable environment which aimed to provide a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.
