Noarlunga Hospital ATSI Building

This striking building located on a prominent main road accommodates several Outpatient and General Medicine health services in a shop-front style facility with vibrant, light-filled spaces that are inviting yet also respectful of occupants’ privacy and dignity.

One of the very first projects in Australia to be designed and delivered to the requirements of the recently released GBCA Greenstar Health Tool the facility has been externally assessed as delivering an outcome equivalent to a 5 star rating. The facility also combines thoughtful passive design initiatives and material selections with intelligent building engineering and management systems to minimise the use of energy and natural resources over the building’s lifetime.

Designed and delivered within a very short timeframe the project provides a tangible demonstration of the incorporation of sustainable initiatives in smaller health buildings specifically developed to achieve the best Whole-Of-Life outcome.
